hi, hello. i'm back frm taipei, taiwan and am here to blog! :)
anw had my haircut on 28th may. it's ugly, it sucked! :(

i guess my chinese has improve! hahaah :D. everything thr is in chinese, heard evn the movies are. wtf, i'll die in the cinema! it's not tht hard to imagine u knw.

i had my most fruitful shopping spree thr in taipei! the things are just so cheap and nice!
i drink bubble tea everyday in taipei, at least 1 cup everyday. i want quickly back in sgp! the ice blended peach is so niceeeee! somebody pls franchise quickly to sgp. :]]

Day 1, 29 May(Mon);
woke up in the morn, prepared and left for the airport. checked in with my sis and 2 cousins, liwei and lizhuang. thn went to eat POPEYE'S CHICKEN for our brunch, my favourite food in the airport! :) after tht, we bought snacks frm bengawan solo and went in the departure hall. a police officer thought i'm a taiwanese! cos of my new haircut i guess.

reached taipei cks intl' aiport and took a chartered bus to our hotel which is in the heart of xi men ding. checked in, unloaded our luggages and we went to meet my cousin's friend and he brought us to eat AH ZONG MIAN XIAN, a very famous noods there. although we have to stand and eat it, hot warming noods in the cold chilly raining night is just oohha! :) thn we walked ard, tried the local food like flavoured sausages, fried foodsticks. and i love the 7-11 thr! sells yummy ovaltine malt ice-cream and drinks! we earned many hello kitty badges thr. loll!

andandand thrs a 12-storey partyworld building thr! like omg, 12-storeys!!!!!!

Day 2, 30 May(Tues);
rainy day. had breakfast in our hotel and took mrt(they call it jie yun! lol.) to cks memorial hall. the buildings are like palaces, bold and beautiful.

went to the underground shopping at taipei main station. it's sth like our citylink but longer. we had our lunch thr. it's just YUM! :]]

thn we took train as in those T-R-A-I-N to wu fen pu, sth like our bugis but much bigger. the clothes thr are cheap and nice. bought alot of clothes until my sis and i have to get a new bag, those kinda hong-bai-lan waterproofs just tht we bought the prettier design. it's a fruitful day! :))))

Day 3, 31 May(Wed);
chilly day. breakfast, thn mrt-ed to a train station. thn took a bus to yeliu. bought tix to the geopark. liwei and i have to show the ppl our ez-link to prove tht we're below 18 for our 'child' tix! thts our first time flashing our ez-link overseas and we're like 'hurh?'. loll. saw the queen's head, formed by soft and hard rocks and took photo of and with it. it's said to be falling off in 1-2 years' time! and we saw the natural sandals and shoes as well.

ate in the 7-11 thr. tht branch has a bar for customers to eat and drink their purchases thr! oh, cool man. sgp's 7-11 shld follow the suit!

headed to jiu fen, a historical place of taiwan. it's a pretty place, narrow and with many steep stairs. bought some souveniers thr and left.

thn we went to shilin night market. the things thr are ok la. i bought a pair of red&white school shoes thr, taiwanese style. ate 'bing tang hu lu', i prefer chinatwn's. my sis and i didn't finish it.

Day 4, 1 June(Thurs);
sunny yet cooling day. had breakfast and all and went to sun yat sen memorial hall. it's more like a sports hall to me cos the ppl in there are either, playing badminton, line/folk-dancing, cycling or jogging. hahaah. thn we walked over to taipei 101. it's grand! we're early and all the shops are not open yet so we went off. took photo with the red L-O-V-E statue, the one similar to our blue one near fish&co. glass hse.

headed to danshui after tht. ate a hello kitty yoghurt icepop. :]] thn we walked ard and bought the local foods products. cake pastries, die dan and all. ate the as long as 55cm ice-cream, choco flavour. it's just NT$100, tht means S$0.50! cheappppp. thn ate ah gei, a famous tofu wrapped crystal noods in some pink gravy. and i bought a wrapped sausage to eat and we boarded a yatch to the opposite ferry, yu ren ma tou.

sth spine-chilling happened in the yatch. the waves and current are huge and the wind is very strong. it's like a roller-coaster ride rather thn a boat ride! a mother who was carrying her son couldn't get hold of the poles somersault-turned with her son and hit the ground. all of us stunned and froze. it's the worst boat ride EVER.

siew's cap nearly flew away bcos of the wind! imagine tai feng occurs... oh no.

we moved on to WU FEN PU, agn like tues. it's my beloved shopping street area! oh, loves! :)))) bought alot of clothes today as well. the things thr couldn't get any cheaper and nicer, it's just too cheap and nice! loll.

Day 5, 2 June(Fri);
cloudy and rainy morning. sis and i overslept! lol. we ate just 2 slices of bread each and left tgthr with our cousins. at first, we went to wu fen pu but it's too early and is raining, all the shops are closed! :( we left and headed to taipei main station underground shopping. we bought alot of stuffs agn! ha. had our lunch thr and returned to xi men ding for our last min shopping. i bought stuffs agn at xi men ding!

HARD CORE SHOPPING SPREE! :) :] :D
during my time in taipei, i really missed singapore alotalotalot! the busy peak hours, cleaniness and esp. my family and friends. and, i missed my room with my bed, pillow and bolster. oh dearrrrr.
and now i'm missing taipei's shopping and their ppl's friendliness!
