Guess what!
I went to 'hunt' for food in the living hall and kitchen. Then unlucky(or is it clumsy?) me dropped the agar agar after just one bite. That's not all, the box of magnum inspired(online shopping term) ice-cream fell out when i opened the freezer.

Seems to me they're hints not to eat so I stopped hunting and returned to the com instead. Blah

My weird habit:
Open the fridge repeatedly even if I've already know that there's no food/snacks I like in it.

Dear diary,
My family and I are going to the Singapore Flyer tomorrow but I don't really feel like going. I mean, I'm not excited when I'm supposed to be. Like hey, it's Singapore Flyer! Oh well, just what's wrong with me?

Clarinda's morning call saved me as usual. She knew I'd overslept. Prepared and cabbed to Dunearn.

Quite disappointing, because alot of people didn't return.
And Dunearn is global warming itself. So warm, everybody just kept sweating. 60cents milo still rocks. The drinks stall uncle recognizes me! Maybe because my orders are always the same, iced milo or jelly. And he said everybody who left Dunearn put on weight! AHA

Singapore is boring and getting more and more boring.
With nowhere to go, clique decided to come to my also very boring house. That's always the back-up Plan B. Bought food from pasar malam, drinks from Greenridge before watching boring DVDs at my place.

Double lectures today.
Classmates & I went to Farrer Park ABC(lol) during lunch break. Wow wild west chicken chop & avocado milkshake. Not nice :/

Then returned to school early and watched funny videos from Youtube with the rest in class which I coincidentally just watched the day before! Japanese pranks and all, damn funny. Even our lecturer joined in!

Town with Sarene. I bought presents, she left and I went threading at Midpoint. Full face + eyebrow! Hmph, only the eyebrow part hurts. Face is actually alright. I'm glad I've got the courage to try full face cos yeah, it isn't painful that will make me regret. Rocky Master's Chocobits soon! :D

Tomorrow, yes you know I'm excited. I'll get to see people I miss. Fab friends, teachers, juniors, stall uncles/aunties heh.

Xiagek and Noi reached after I met up with sister at FEP in the late afternoon.
FEP is terribly disappointing! And town is so boring i have no mood to shop and felt like sleeping :(

Then sister left for movie date at J8 and Xiaguan came after that. Dinner at Yoshinoya before heading to Clarke Quay where we roamed around and then went home. I wanna go clubbing!

AFTERNOON:
Surprise birthday party at Hafiz's place! :D
His sister plotted the entire event and SC7 w/o Chujun, Viki and supposedly Afiq were involved. It was hilarious with all the masks on, party poppers and somewhat embarrassing surprising his sister's boyfriend instead of the birthday boy himself.

Although it wasn't a LOUD(enough) surprise because apparently Hafiz wasn't in the living room when we screamed and popped the poppers, surprises always work. I've been surprised once, I remember clearly it was on Dunearnite during my Sec 3 year and my lovely choir mates surprised me with a cake and present right after we're dismissed. Touching.

We took alot alot alot of DSLR shots within the mere 3 hours. I learnt that there's around 400 of them - jump shots and gif potentials.

I'll selectively post the photos when i get them :D

NIGHT - MIDNIGHT:
Gala Nite @Swissotel the Stamford
This annual thing my parents and I, sometimes my sister and her boyfriend would be invited to. The venue changes almost every year, last year's was at Meritus Mandarin Hotel.

A short catch-up with Jenny there. She's finally appearing in dinner events after so many years of hiatus!

The event ended at around 12.30am and our parents gladly dragged it for another half an hour or so. Both of us were complaining but still took photos with our tired faces. Then reached home at near 2am. I'll upload the photos when I get them uploaded.

After a long day, I'm surprisingly not tired so here I am blogging. However, I'm aching from head to toe and I don't even know why.

Time to force myself to sleep :)

Econs lecture today.
The lecturer I expected to be a Spanish('cos of his name) turned out to be an Indian. He's hilarious and comedic with wits. And he makes us think after our answer for a Yes/No question.

Sentosa after 4 years or so
I'm like a tourist then Peirong & Hariz were like tourguides showing me around the sunny island. So many things have changed within the years! The monorail, zoo-like tram, cleaner toilets. Everything's pretty much more 'high class'.

Beach volleyball is so damn difficult to play! Court is easier. The sand is one great obstacle. I gave up after around 10 minutes, totally flew the white flag bcos it was a 1-VS-1 against Hariz. OH MAN

Finally got to sleep at around 3am, naturally overslept and suffers from the lack of sleep. Cabbed to school since it's the first day of Dip. term.

Here goes the worst cab ride of my life...
The driver seemed nice when I just boarded, until I realized he got my destination wrongly when he confirmed with me after a few minutes. Then somewhere near or at PIE, he wanted to make a U-Turn. After queuing at the lane for a minute or so, he saw the signboard: U-turn from 6.30am to 9.30am only. Confidently drove away before informing me and making an absolutely redundant de-tour. (It was only 9.0+am at that moment!)

Pissed but kept my cool. I didn't want him to speed me off and murder me somewhere rural.

When we're already reaching, he exit at the wrong lane & so another de-tour was required. Apologized and 'tried' to divert my attention by saying: "Haiya, everywhere jam" in Mandarin. Obviously ignored.

And guess what? He's got no sense of direction! He don't know/forgot where he made the wrong exit. Fag, I got into a 'Panicatthedisco' mood because apparently I don't know Queenstown well enough.

The annoying uncle then told me he will only charge me $21 for the cab fare. It's only a few cents(at most a dollar or so) mind you!

Thought I'd be late all thanks to him, rushed to the lecture room and realized the lecturer was delayed by some technical difficulties. Wth, shouldn't cab at all.

After the ITT lec, bused to town with Junru, Dawn & Xueli. Went to Takashimaya with Dawn while waiting for Christine. Dawn left & I met up with Christe. Art Friend, Kinokuniya(I bought a 'POSH' file! :D), Cineleisure's Hip Diner USA. Review: Poor inattentive service, Bugis outlet serves nicer food.

Cabbed home after buying the Japanese fish-shaped i-don't-know-what for Dad & myself. Red bean flavour is superb! :)

Clique's Dinner Date
Guess what? The clique last met more than a month ago! Feels more like a century. Makes me wonder when it'll be the next time we'll meet altogether. A month or two later? This sucks to the core of the core.

*clears throat* I'm so proud to say I'm the first to reach the meeting place today. &I'm early, 15 minutes earlier than meeting time. Cool or what!

Dinner at my uncle's BBQ seafood stall. Pari pari, prawns, sotong, clams & kangkong! :D (I finished my rice & all! *clears throat again*)

Then we went to West Mall's Coffeebean to chill. I can't really remember the last time I've been there, most probably it was on the day of the release of 'O's results earlier this year. Wanted to watch The Mummy but there wasn't any timeslots when we reached at 10plus. My last movie was more than a month ago! But then again, there isn't any movie I feel like watching now. *pulls a very long face*

Left at 11.11pm according to some of the phone clocks. Oh, then I brisk-walked, jogged & eventually ran with Karolkreme to catch the possibly last 920 of the day. Totally no stamina! Seriously gotta start working out. I'm feeling kinda unhealthy without P.E. pushing me around.

Shopped, bought a SPLIT tee from Isetan :)
The salespeople there are damn nice! They're actually part of the reason I make my purchase. But mainly & most importantly, the tee itself is nice. Oh, then even the cashier is nice! Good service is essential, something the locals doesn't really possess.

Hearts + rainbows = LOVE!

Gonna stock up more tees... &Flip-flops! My green havaianas doesn't match the clothes i wear many a times. It's nice & i still like it cos Clique bought it as my last year's bday present. Fancying a pink Billabong with blue lips printed on it. But, was thinking: Since Roxy/RipCurl already doesn't belong to my age league, the more is B right?! So i'm still considering to get it, or not. Roxy's still my all-time-fave-surfbrand though, cos of the heart-shaped logo and the name and everything. I'm like a kid, still at the surfbrand stage, talking about Roxy, RipCurl & Billabong. BUMP!

Sarene suggested to bus over to PS for my beloved Rocky Master's Chocobits but i was too tired. Had McCafe's Double Chocolate instead before heading home :)

I saw a Dunearn junior on the way there. She smiled to me & I smiled back, I had no idea who she is though. Am i suffering from STM?

Dinner at Peirong's place. YES, totally abrupt! Hariz claimed he saved the world in 4 secs in the idea of Madonna ft. Justin Timberlake's 4 minutes. You see why I don't wish to react/reply him sometimes. I can only give him that -.- look.

Then we had ice kachang at Bangkit. (Pr & Siew's territory!)
Traditionally good, and would be even better with more syrup, corn & evaporated milk! Me a sweettooth :D I don't really like food courts' ice kachang except for the fact that they drench alot of syrup over. Their ice just tastes fake. As fake as Hariz-the-italiano-boyanese. d: d: d:

Hmph, talked about our days back in Dunearn. Those beautiful memories!

More last minute(and planned) meet-ups please! &Of cos, not forgetting our Sentosa beach volleyball cum Peiqi-is-not-tanning-but-Peirong-is-tanning session. Saturday
Evening - I cooped myself up in my room with the light switched off, radio tuned into Perfect 10 and miraculously without the air-con turned on. I just laid on my beloved bed, trying to fall asleep. Thought of going for a jog when my sleeping plan failed, but somehow, just couldn't seem to bring myself to do it. Then, watched David Beckham, Jay Chou & Jolin's videos through my iTouch to pass time. After which, Jacky Wu's variety programmes managed to make me laugh alotalotalot. He never fails to do so!

Wee hours - Mommy & i couldn't sleep so we decided to make Konnyaku jellies. At 2am in the morning! Fun, i love making desserts, snacks, food & all. (Julius, i think you're probably right abt my bleak future. I might end up being a housewife -.-, shiatsxz!)

Mommmy went to bed after that but i still wasn't tired at all. So i went on exploring new hairstles & even played poken alone. I was really desperate you see. Finally, ended up sleeping at 4plus. GREAT

Morning - Then i HAD to wake at 10am because my family & i are meeting my sister's future-in-laws for dim sum at Shaw Centre.

Shopped at TANGS, spent quite a long time there. Mommy bought a wok but we didn't want that 'burden' with us while shopping so we asked for delivery. Why are woks so ex? It's just metalplasticstainlesssteel. My sister qualified for the TANGS style card thanks to the wok. Bought a few gifts too.

Then i got my phone. Guess what...

My sister wanted Himalayan Tea Frappe(cold) but i ordered Himalayan Latte(hot) instead. So i honestly offered him the top-up but he said it's okay. How nice, i like nice people :D

Yes, for like the 3rd time. &Yay, Mommy's agreeable! She seems to prefer Hongkong, Macau & Bangkok though. Oh well, even KL's fine with me. Wherever, I'll go anywhere! I just wanna travel, shop, eat, drink. That's the kind of life i'm interested in.

#2: Dream, live it.
I only managed to tell Clarinda about this.
Here goes... I had a long interesting dream last week. It happens that Clarinda, Chris, Junyang & I went to Genting with me & Clarinda's parents. Then we splited ways with our parents. Theme parks, KL, shop, eat, drink. We even clubbed & had a movie marathon on the last night without sleeping! The funniest part: The guys brought gloves & we laughed at them throughout the trip. So detailed & realistic. Cool or what!

Identity crisis

FMT Exam
MCQ was rather easy-peasy. As for the 5 choose 3 essays, i could only elaborate more on 2 of them. But, not bad for last-day-mugging.

To Centrepoint alone after that. Mommy gave me a $50 voucher to spend at Robinsons/Marks & Spencer. Couldn't find anything nice at Robinsons, hence, the decision to splurge the entire amount on food/snacks from Marks.

Then met up with Hariz for a while before Sis & her boyfriend came to fetch me to Chun Tin Road for dinner at Five Star. BTK's chicken rice, other dishes & drinks are much nicer. Value for money! I borrowed the book shown below from Hariz, was reading & addicted to it on the car. It's really hard to read on the car even though the i switched on the light but i still continued. It's way too interesting to resist!

I'm having body aches now cause of the heavy Marks & Spencers bag i carried! I am so not exaggerating. I think it weighed a kilogram or two?

Beckham is so hot, so much so that i love him to the coreeeee!

Today is so stupid x5, as the title suggests. In a very good and fun way though :)

Clarinda & I went back to Dunearn to collect our 'O' level certs and most importantly, to have lunch! We both had malay rice. Aw, miss it sososo much. &I'm really glad the stall auntie remembers me! Julius, Peirong, etc. were back there too! Clari&Jul are so jealous of my testimonial because it's so well written by beloved full-of-vocabulary Mr. Kaan! Heh

Then Clariby/Bobdrindra(lol!) and I took MRT to Bugis. Okay, here comes the first but not last so stupid x5 thing that happened today. We alighted & made our exit at Outram Park Stn when we're supposed to switch train! Yes, ain't that so stupid x5!!!!! I'm the one who realized that we exit at the wrong station ;)

Chewy Jr. is nice, really very chewy. QQ, i like :)
We had Chocolate Oreo Crunch. Yums, my favourite combination!

Appetizers, fried nian gao & silken tofu soup. Spicy but delicious! (Clarinda can repeat the soup's very nice more thn a million times.) So stupid x5

After our very filling dinner, we went hunting for nice & less-crowded spots to take photos but there are like n-o-n-e. So we did yet another so stupid x5 thing: took photos on the way to the bus-stop. Can you imagine we took more than a handful of photos within 50metres beside the main road? Madness, we know. I hope the strangers will regard us as tourists instead of 2 out-of-the-mind girls camwhoring but i doubt so.

On the bus, we did alot of so stupid x5 things as well. Taking photos of and with our accessories in many different weird ways. We even took photo of our Vicks! Talked abt our secondary school life, the detentions, the undertaking, the yellow forms. It's funny what & how we got through. The clique 'grew up' together. So i guess we're somehow similar here & there, this & that, bits & pieces. Love them!

Opposition would ruin Singapore: Lee Kuan Yew
SINGAPORE, June 26, 2008 (AFP) - The Singapore opposition would ruin the wealthy city-state's achievements in five years if they ever gained power, the country's founding father Lee Kuan Yew said.

Lee, 84, warned Singapore voters against putting the opposition at the helm of government "in a moment of fickleness or just sheer madness" when they get "bored" at some point in the future.

Should this happen, "I think all bets are off because in five years they (opposition) can ruin this place," he told delegates at an international forum late Wednesday.

He stressed that, unlike many other countries, Singapore did not have natural resources such as oil, gas, forests, timber and aluminium.

"When you are Singapore and your existence depends on performance -- extraordinary performance, better than your competitors -- but that performance disappears because the system on which it is based is eroded, then you've lost everything."

Lee, widely credited for shepherding the underdeveloped port into one of Asia's wealthiest nations in one generation, said younger Singaporeans often tell him he is "playing the same old record" when he delivers his message.

Singapore's small opposition has only two seats in a parliament dominated by the People's Action Party which has been elected since 1959.

Despite its economic success, local and international civil rights groups have criticised the government for cracking down hard on dissenters and political activists.

Street protests are rare and public gatherings of five people or more are banned without a police permit.

Lee has maintained that Western-style liberal democracy is not the right model for Singapore.

He said one ingredient for a country's success is putting able leaders in government. This could be difficult under a more freewheeling US-style democracy in which "you are judged in accordance with your persuasive powers," he said.

Lee holds the cabinet rank of Minister Mentor in the government of his son, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

The plot of the sequel would have closely followed the plot of the remaining volumes of the manhwa. The production company, Eight Peaks was aiming to re-sign the entire original cast for the sequel Goong 2.

Last year, Eight Peaks stated that they would aim to film Goong 2 in late 2007 or early 2008. However, Yoon Eun Hye and Kim Jeong Hoon have stated their wishes to withdraw from Eight Peaks due to conflicting problems with the company. Yoon Eun Hye has already ended her contract with Eight Peaks and has moved onto Kraze Entertainment. Without the complete main characters of the first season, it is most likely there will be no sequel of Goong.
